Sherlock does his best to make John happy when John comes back to 221B with his new baby after the events of Season 3, but Sherlock has a track record of getting things wrong in this area. This story is an exploration of their gradual shift from friends to lovers, told from Sherlock's perspective, full of a lot of pining and lack of emotional awareness. (But don't worry; I love a happy ending.)

Summary
Sherlock's parents believe that John and Sherlock are dating (again) now that Sherlock is back from the dead and John and Mary are divorced. John agrees to play along so that Sherlock's parents aren't let down, what could possibly go wrong?
Basically what it says on the tin: Fake Relationship, Bed Sharing, and Love Confessions.
P.S. This has been sitting on my desk top for over two years, thus it is not series 4 compliant and I didn't have the energy to rewrite it to make it that way. :) Enjoy.

Summary
Green.
The word green was used to convey a great many things. Illness. Envy. Inexperience.
Standing there amidst Janine's chattering bridesmaids, watching Sherlock furrow his brow and study fabric swatches, watching him smile and simper and flirt, John thought it a remarkably apt colour choice. Because he felt quite sick to his stomach, he feared the source of said sickness might very well be jealousy, and he had absolutely no idea at all what to do about it.
Or: Sherlock needs to fake a relationship for a case. He doesn't ask John.

Summary
John is very pleased with how much easier Sherlock is to live with post-wives, and babies that were not his, and lunatic sisters, and explosions. Pleased that Sherlock respects his requests and is making an obvious effort to be a better flatmate - a quieter, more reserved, more tactful flatmate, and a more polite, calmer, more controlled person in general.
John is very pleased.

Summary
After Sherlock’s return from the dead, John, still scarred and mistrustful, puts an emotional distance between them. When Molly has a family emergency and can’t help Sherlock with what seems an exciting Russian espionage case, John, despite his lingering anger, volunteers to take her place.
