She felt... nothing. Nothing other than mild surprise, anyways, about the contortions of their form, the flat chest and broad shoulders resolving themselves differently than she had pictured. She was disappointed, but her mother had told her that not every voe she met would make a spark, just as every spark does not make a flame. So, she carried on.

Summary
Al's armored hand plunges into Edward's abdomen coated in pride's shadows. Even as the shadows recede Al stands frozen in place. A gurgled cough sounds from the hunched figure, and red liquid appears higher up Al's arm. Ed wavers, losing his tight grip where he'd been bracing against Al's arm as it becomes slick with his blood, and then falls, sliding down and off the smooth metal.
Aka Pride infests Al's armor while he's still conscious and attacks Ed. But, the alchemist has one last plan up his sleeve to achieve his goals.

Summary
Danny Fenton prides himself in being a normal human teenage boy. If by human you mean half-human half-ghost created in someone's musty basement laboratory. And if by normal you mean having no idea how humans actually work because he's never strayed further than the Fentonworks yard before. What Danny means is that he could be a normal human teenage boy if his parents would just give him a chance. Which is why he convinces them to let him attend Casper High. He's going to get such a good grade in Being A Normal Human Teenager, something that is both normal to want and possible to achieve.
Spoiler alert: Danny wasn’t made for normalcy.

“A million dollars?” The ghost hunter mumbled, looking at the bounty offer, “Just for one ghost?” Dante stared at the picture of the ghost in question. It had white hair, glowing green eyes and was wearing what looked to be a white and black jumpsuit with a DP insignia.
A strange, brutal, ghosthunter hears about the million dollar bounty, and goes to Amity Park to capture Danny. The bounty says he needs to be "alive". The stranger tracks the bounty back to a one Vladimir Masters, and shows up at his doorstep with a chained and injured Danny Phantom, beaten within an inch of his life, but still barely gripping the threads of consciousness enough to stay in ghost form. Vlad sees this and is upset. He had hurt Danny before, but never to this degree. He had only meant to teach the boy, or to have a son of his own. He never would hurt him this badly. The stranger demands the money, but Vlad refuses. The stranger goes to take Danny, saying that if he does not get the money, Vlad does not get the ghost boy. Vlad lets his eyes flash red and his fangs show.
Hurt/Comfort, Mentor/Apprentice relationship.
Set at the beginning of season 2-ish. IDK it’s been awhile since I have actually watched the show. -
