“Vash, honey, it might take some time before we know for sure,” Luida says, laying a hand on Vash’s shoulder. If he wasn’t laying down, Vash is sure his shoulders would have dropped in disappointment. “I’ll let you get dressed, then you can head back to your room and rest, okay?”
Vash sighs but nods. He understands they’re looking into something they know nothing about. It’s not like they have an abundance of resources to know what they’re looking at. “Thanks Luida, I appreciate it, really.”

Summary
Vash isn't certain what sort of drugs run through Wolfwood's veins. All Vash knows is that if they stop making eye contact for longer than a few seconds, it's as though he ceases to exist. There's genuine surprise in Wolfwood's gaze every time he looks back, almost sweet in the way his eyes light up.
The visible beating heart just puts a real damper on things, unfortunately.

Dream shakes his head, laughing. “You can’t do that.” And as he walks forward to get closer, Phil points his sword right at Dream’s face.
“Yes, we can.” Phil responds, and Dream takes a step back when the edge of Phil’s sword pokes against his mask.

The first discussion conference that Wei Wuxian sits in on after getting married is hosted by GusuLan. What this means is that, as the spouse of the Second Jade and mother of the heir to GusuLan, Wei Wuxian is obligated to join the conference, whether he wants to or not.
