Summary
Leia last-name-unknown is not of Tatooine. She is no desert child and it shows. Her hands are calloused, yes, but from blasters, not carrying around boxes full of ill-gotten items for a slave-master. Her hair is darker than most that live on the planet. It has not been sun-touched. Neither has her skin, which remains pale and smooth in deep contrast to the Tatooinians’ cracked and tan. She carries herself like she expects others to make way for her, though she will also kneel for the kids in the streets. She has none of the wariness that comes from smugglers hoping to go unnoticed or slaves who wish to avoid any kind of conflict. The weapons she carries and clothes she wears, speak of wealth wisely spent. She is not of Tatooine, the inhabitants agree, but the sand welcomes her all the same.

Summary
Fox dies.
Except he doesn’t, because as soon as the creepy Sith ritual drains the last of the blood from his body, he wakes up…somewhere. Somewhere else, where, for once, he can’t feel the Emperor’s claws digging into his head every hour of the cycle.
Unfortunately, this somewhere else is so deep in the middle of nowhere that he gets picked up by a mandalorian—some asshole called Montross who quickly proves that he’d be more helpful dead, especially once Fox finds out that this shabuir wants to sell him off to the Kyr’tsad. In a final bid for freedom, Fox disposes of his would-be captor, commandeers his ship, and goes on the run from the man’s terrorist Kyr’tsad friends and his weird Haat Mando’ad coworkers.
…until the weird coworkers finally catch up to Fox.
Or: upon his death, Fox is thrown several decades into the past, lands in Mandalore’s backyard, gets himself adopted, and (mostly intentionally) alters the course of the galaxy.
Oh, and he isn’t the only vod to get tossed through time and space.

At least that's what goes through Feemor's head when he, rather unexpectedly, finds himself with an armful of mandalorian child during one of his routine patrols around the Temple entrance's perimeter.
In which Feemor saves a mandalorian child's life rather on accident, but now he seems to have earned the unwavering interest (and loyalty?) of three curious little shadows. The other Temple Guards think it's adorable, Cin Drallig is concerned for their internal security and the adult Mandalorians are having... mixed feelings about this all, to say the least.
