“Mydeimos, I bet that I can last longer than you.”

“No, no, I’m talking about sex. Let’s see who can make the other come first.”
“HKS. Did that hot water boil your brain? What kind of contest is that?”
“It’s no contest at all… if you’re that sure that you would lose.”
Mydei scoffed. “Trying to provoke me, are you? Very well. There is no word in the Kremnoan language for a coward who backs down from a challenge. This challenge, albeit a strange one, will be no different from the rest. You’re on.”...
“M–Mydei!” He shifted in surprise in Mydei’s ridiculously muscular arms. Those same arms that had been choking him just a few hours ago during their “self-defense skills” contest.
Mydei gently tossed Phainon onto the bed. Then he beckoned with his finger and ordered, “Sit up.”
