Summary
When 8 year old Merlin is given as a sex slave to an unwilling 13 year old Prince Arthur, Merlin thinks it's not so bad, since Arthur is kind and only uses him when he absolutely has to. However, when Arthur gets a little older, something changes in him, and the Prince can no longer hold himself back from using Merlin as often as possible.
Through it all, a confused, terrified, and emotionally stunted Merlin struggles to come to terms with his (very extreme) internalized homophobia when he discovers that he is continuously aroused by what Arthur, who is also his best friend, forces upon him. Loving Arthur too much to hate him, Merlin focuses the hate and rage on to himself, at the same time also denying to himself that he has any romantic feelings for Arthur at all.

Summary
Arthur looks at Merlin from behind, noticing the way his hips sway back and forth continuously, his hair shifting with every step his nimble body takes. Arthur stops for just a second. He can make a choice; he could tell Merlin that it was all an elaborate scheme to get out of that horrendous party early without judgment. Or he could take on this new plan he's just made to his advantage. If Merlin really thinks he won't remember tonight, why not use it to figure out the truth? Arthur thinks to himself about all those stolen glances, hovering hands, and kind gestures that he and Merlin have traded recently. Arthur's been noticing a lot of that lately, the blush creeping up Merlin's perfect collarbone and onto his cheeks once Arthur says something in the slightest bit flirty, and if he was imagining it, then forget he could, right?

Arthur Pretends to be Drunk to see how Merlin feels about him. Smut and Fluff ensue.

Summary
When Arthur nearly dies by Lady Helen's dagger, Merlin uses magic to heal him. Unwilling to see Merlin executed for saving his life, Arthur turns a blind eye—but only under the condition that Merlin take on the role of his servant. What starts as "keeping his enemy closer" soon turns into completely redefining who his enemy is, as Merlin helps Arthur to unlearn his father's hatred. What then becomes camaraderie soon blossoms into much, much more.
