Telamon’s made a mistake, but luckily, his creation seems rather keen to please. He’s glad he doesn’t have to pick up the pieces this time — and he’s got someone to help around when he needs it! What a fortunate outcome.
1x1x1x1 is well aware of their purpose. Subservient, meek, bold eyes hidden by the subdued whites and silvers of their hair. They are meant to be a good little doll, a puppet for their creator to use as He pleases.
That doesn’t mean they can’t gain something from this too.
Their creator is aloof. Closed-off, distant, hiding clumps of some bittersweet thing underneath His detachment, layers of apathy that He wears like battle armor. He may be their God, but even the devotees of old wrote about killing their great spirits, if only to sink their teeth into the vulnerability finally exposed so their beings could never leave them again, could never take them for granted and lock them away.
1x wants to know how He tastes.
And fortunately, Telamon is willing to walk Himself right into their trap.
