Summary
The arrow pierces her girlfriend's body and as her body falls to the ground the champion is filled with rage and horror and so she allows her patron god to do something she has thus far refused and invites him into her body to give her godly strength and power which she uses in her anguish and devastation to first kill the man who took her love away from her and then to kill the king who started this war in the first place and in the end, after all her enemies are slain and the battle is over, she kneels next to the corpse of her love and lays her love's head in her lap and prays once more and her patron god, Hades, grants her wish one last time and as the life fades from the hero's eyes, the eyes of her love opens. A life for a life in a new world now that the war is done.

Summary
Peter was exploring an old, abandoned hydra base with the avengers. More specifically, Iron man, black Widow and Hawkeye . While it was supposed to be abandoned, they could never be too safe with bases like these. Sometimes other ‘bad guys’ moved in, sometimes there were still old traps around, sometimes the structure of the building was just unsafe. So they always went in full gear. Just in case.
Which is why none of them were all that surprised when one of them activated a trap. Peter, personally, was also not very surprised that Tony and Hawkeye were the ones that got caught in it. Peter had jumped backwards into a wall when the trap activated- and he thought he’d hit something, but nothing happened

It’s funny how once you realize you have nothing left to lose, everything else just snaps into place.
He can hardly hear his heartbeat for the gunfire in his ears. His footfalls might as well be silent, buried as they are in the din of adrenaline and panting breath. It’s like his brain knows each breath might be his last if the next bullet finds its mark, so it dials every sense up to eleven. The world narrows to just the concrete beneath his feet and the plane ahead, glinting in the sunlight, its ramp already down—keep going, he just needs to keep going—
BANG!
The bullet zings through where he was a fraction of a heartbeat ago. His muscles are burning, but he doesn’t stop, can’t stop. It’s almost exhilarating, like he has lightning in his veins rather than the blood soaking through his already-red sweatshirt. Still, he can’t help but wonder—
When had Spider-Man gone from catching bicycle thieves to dodging military gunfire?

Summary
Pepper and Tony Stark’s biological kids, Morgan, Peter, and Harley, were kidnapped eight years ago. The redhead paced around his room, and you could feel her frustration coming off her in waves. Her hand was running anxiously through her curls as she muttered what he thought were various swear words in Russian.
"So, are you just going to-" Peter was silenced by an annoyed glare, snapping his jaw shut. Natasha sighed, rubbing her temples as she closed her eyes for a second.
"Kid, do you think you're ready to do something absolutely stupid that will most definitely up end your life?"
"Not much to upend," Peter jokes weakly, and Natasha rolls her eyes, giving him a concerned look when she thinks he's not looking, but she knows his answer. Her shoulders straighten, and she looks at him with a serious expression.
"Are you willing to go against Stark?"
