Summary
The weight of reality crushed his lungs and climbed up his throat. He felt shaken, sick, as if he was the one who died. He didn't feel whole anymore. It was exactly the same feeling as when the hitman told him he'd killed Satoru, but now it was way worse.
Satoru was lying in the courtyard. The same courtyard he left him in, believing him when he said he would be fine, that he could handle it. And now, he found him lying in a pool of his own blood. Geto dropped to his knees, his trembling hands heading towards Satoru's face. His eyes, once a bright blue, seemed to have turned gray, or perhaps it was just an illusion. He died instantly, or maybe he suffered. His skull was cracked open, his throat as well, and his chest too. His hair was dampened by blood, taking on its color. He looked so pale that it was heart-wrenching.
Shoko was right, he shouldn't have looked.
Or, Gojo doesn't survive the fight with Toji.
