“The toaster blew up,” he said.
“Then go buy a new toaster,” she answered, turning back to her diary.
“We’re broke,” he reminded her.
“Fine, build a new toaster. Just leave me alone until four, okay?”
“What happens at four?”
Piper closed her diary, with more force than necessary, and looked at Leo with a slightly manic glint in her eye. “You, Sir, are going on a date.”

Leo loved Piper, he really did. Almost as much as she loved to stick her nose in where it didn't belong - namely, Leo's romantic life, or lack thereof.

“What happened, Dick?” He demands, his eyes searching Dick’s face as if there's an answer written on it. “None of us has seen you since you disappeared to wherever the fuck you went. No one has heard from you except for Barbie when you returned. What the hell happened?”
Dick stares at him long enough for Jason to squirm slightly under his gaze. The sight is oddly satisfying.
“Hypothetically,” he starts eventually, watching Jason's face twitch. Dick pulls his hand away from Jason’s grip and his eyes drift up to the ceiling. “If you got sent back into time… and the person you love was suddenly right there, what would you do?”
Jason makes a confused sound in the back of his throat. “What kind of—” He cuts himself off with a huff. “I don't fucking know. I’d talk to them, I guess.”
“What would you say to them?” Dick presses, glancing at Jason. “Would you have confessed? Would you take the second chance and tell them the truth?”
Jason frowns, crossing his arms over his chest. “Maybe.”
“Even if it meant they’d lose their family? Their future?”
Jason’s frown deepens. “Dick, what—”
“Just answer the damn question, Jay.”
