Raising his eyes to the rest of the team, Eddie is surprised to find them all staring at him, jaws dropped in disbelief.
So much for warm support.
“What?” Hen finally asks, genuine confusion stamping her face.
“I'm bi,” he says again, more confident… or something like it. “I've been doing some soul searching since Nashville and…” he nods to himself, a shy smile stamping his face as he looks up to his team, “I guess I’m finally ready to share this with you guys.”
They, however, do not share in his whimsy.
“You're joking.” Ravi deadpans.
Or: Eddie comes out wrong—but luckily the rest of the 118 is there to drop kick him out of the closet.

Eddie scoffs. “Try me.”
“I want to, like, hold onto your ankles and never let go.”
Without missing a beat, Eddie offers: “I want to handcuff myself to you so that you can never go anywhere without me.”
Or, Buck worries about wanting too much. Eddie literally and metaphorically scoffs in his face.

Eddie groan is audible even through the locked door, “I fell asleep in the shower.”
Buck can’t help the laugh that crawls its way up his throat, but he recovers quickly. "I mean… I did tell you to go to bed."
"My hair smelled like sewage. Still does actually, I hadn't… gotten around to washing it." Eddie counters quickly.
Buck has always prided himself on his vast knowledge of Everything Eddie Diaz, which is why he knows he's not going to be able to convince his best friend to skip the shampoo and get out of the shower right now. Still, he doesn't expect himself to say what he says next. "Do you want me to help?"
Or; Eddie is too tired to wash his own hair, his kind best friend offers to do it for him

“Show me,” Buck said, laughing to himself when Eddie jolted in surprise, his gaze finding Buck’s, “Dancing with Hen reminded you why you loved dancing so much in the first place, soooo, I'm not Hen but maybe I can be enough.”
“What?” Eddie gasped after the initial shock, and while he had half the mind to say no, he still took Buck’s hand between his own. “You want me to teach you Samba?”
Buck shrugged, a smirk on his face, “Unless you're all talk.”
