Hyunjae's dimly lit office, where the enormous fishtank transforms the world into shifting azure light and darting sapphire shadows. Where Sung Hyunjae stands waiting in the dark, his arms crossed, his expression deceptively mild.
Where Yoojin is forced to sit in solitary splendor on the cold tile floor, naked, surrounded by coil upon coil of chain - a glinting, glittering ouroboros that cradles him in its embrace.
He glares up at Hyunjae.
Yoojin demands, "You know what an idiom is, don't you? You understand that these things aren't supposed to be taken literally?"
"Is my dear partner going back on his word?" The deep voice's tones are silky.

When Katsuki discovers Deku trying to escape out a bathroom window, he isn't expecting it to lead into anything more than an embarrassing anecdote. Instead he, Deku, and their allies, soon find themselves on the defensive, guarding the Yuuei Caern against the forces of the eldritch abomination, the Wyrm, as it sends its minions in to try and seduce, corrupt, and destroy this bastion of pure magics.

EDIT: Had to go back and edit some chapters to adjust the Glaive/Crownsguard stuff. I've made it slightly different than canon, which will come up more in future chapters.

He is honoured in roadside shrines and kitchen altars, he is spoken of in scripture and in children's tales, and he has been in countless movies, plays, novels, comics, and songs.
But who is he? What are his origins? The Cosmogony teaches that the King of Light was raised up by the Astrals to watch over the Star so that never again would Eos be plunged into darkness. Who, then, was this herald-turned-Messenger? Who was the man who was raised up to divinity, and what did he do to deserve it?

Summary
Grace flexes its jaw, shifts the marker towards one corner of its mouth, then removes the marker without actually consuming it. It makes a sharp pop as it leaves Grace's mouth, brightening the tubing in Grace's nose.
"I've got it reversed," Grace decides.
I unfreeze enough to let out a loud and pointed noise of disgust.
"Yeah, sorry buddy. This isn't exactly my wheelhouse."
Without acknowledging the aborted attempt to eat the marker, nor wiping it's digestive fluids off of it, Grace taps the square it paused over again.
"This is actually a second cousin," It says.
I decide not to ask.
