There was just no way this was his life. That morning, Rose had been forcing Shane to demonstrate with his hands how large Ilya’s dick was, wheedling him for all sorts of details that had made him flush beet-red and nearly lose his ability to talk. Now Ilya was here, in front of him, contractually obligated to be stitched to his side day in and day out for the next year, at least. The thought was enough to make Shane dizzy all over again.
(Shane Hollander is the son of the Canadian prime minister. He is also the captain of his college hockey team. This obscene balancing act is seemingly going just fine, until he accidentally hooks up with his new bodyguard one night at the bar.)

He has written 47,000 words about Ilya Rozanov's career. He has approximately zero words for what happens when Rozanov corners him in a hotel corridor after Game 7 and says, very quietly, in that voice: "You always leave before I can talk to you." Shane has absolutely no idea what to do with that.
