Leah's knee digs uncomfortably into his stomach, and her breath makes the hair on his arms stand on end. She lurches away so fast her braids smack her in her face on the upswing, prompting Walker to let go of her waist. Casually.
The time has come for Walker and Leah’s kiss scene in Battle of The Labyrinth. Naturally, things do not happen as smoothly as Walker would've hoped for.

It's fucking ridiculous how hyperaware of Leah he is nowadays. It's like the casual, physical affection knocks him over the head like the frying pan Rapunzel uses on Eugene in the Tangled movie: sudden, loud, and utterly debilitating.
(The only reason Walker's referencing Tangled is because Leena was obsessed with it when they were kids. If anyone asks, it's NOT because Walker thought Eugene and Rapunzel's love story was the pinnacle of romance.
It is NOT.)
Leah falls asleep on Walker’s shoulder, and he has some feelings about it.

Since when had that mattered?! Never! It hadn't mattered! And the fact that her brain kept picking up on those things was driving her nuts, because instead of thinking of Walker as her best friend, the first thing that popped into her mind during interviews was 'oh yeah, he's pretty.'
"… Leah?"
"Huh?" She snapped to attention, her eyes darting between Aryan and Walker's faces. They were looking expectantly at her for an answer to a question she hadn't heard. "Sorry," she apologized with barely contained panic in her voice. "What was the question?”
Leah can't stop noticing Walker's lashes, and it's driving her crazy.
