It’s all calculated.” She says matter of factly, like someone talking about the weather. Jason however feels like he just got the air punched out of him. He’s never been seen so plainly. Leave it to Mrs.Trina to pick Jason apart and still push for more. “So what are you after? What is it all for?” The thing about Mrs. Trina though is she doesn’t do bullshit. When she asks a question she genuinely wants to know the answer. It has Jason dropping his guard.

    Jason Todd is really good at his job. He's not so good at... well... being good.

    Instead of surviving on the streets, Jason finds himself trafficked to Two-Face's gang, where his small size and breaking and entering skills keep him valuable. Three years later, with all his escape attempts frustrated and his future looking bleak, Jason is hand-picked for a suicide mission into Cadmus. Jason could maybe figure out a way out if it were just him. Maybe. But now Batman is shot and cuffed in his cell, and things just got much more complicated.

    TLDR: Jason Todd is a twelve-year-old criminal genius, which leads to him getting adopted last of the Wayne brood.

    Jason should have left. Should have just aborted the mission and come back another time when Tim wasn't around. That was the smart play. The tactical play. But curiosity was a bitch, and Jason found himself moving toward the sound instead of away from it. He peered around the doorframe and saw Tim in his office, pacing like a caged animal with at least five empty coffee cups scattered across his desk. The kid looked like he hadn't slept in a week. Maybe longer.
