-----------------------Viktor’s head tips to the side as he sets down his glass, bumping gently against Jayce’s forearm. “I thought your jealousy may be assuaged by your ring on my finger, but it seems I was mistaken.” He shakes his head in amusement as he thumbs over the jewelry, a constant fixture on his left hand.
It was a modest band, muted silver, with a clumsily stamped pattern wrapping around its entirety. Jayce had crafted it within their first few months of settling down, the moment he had the money stored away to afford the materials. He hadn’t practiced nearly enough, banking on his raw talent with manipulating metal in his impatience to present Viktor with physical proof of his promise. It was worth it to be able to take Viktor’s hand and slide it onto his ring finger, to watch the trail of blush as it spread prettily down his face, all the way to his collarbones.
