Summary
Taeju had killed Jiwoo without his permission. He had done it, and then he had disappeared. It didn't matter. Mujin had never needed him. Plenty of men in Dongcheon were capable of taking his place, or of being trained to, if the need arose.
And if he strained to listen whenever he heard his name whispered in the corridors, it was only to know who might still be loyal to him. And if he tried to find out what had become of him, it was because one had to keep an eye on former members and make sure they kept their mouths shut.
And if he found himself on the street where the restaurant Taeju now worked at happened to be, it was purely by chance.
Wasn't it ?
