He takes the Knights of the Round Table and Merlin on a diplomatic trip to Gawant and insists on keeping Merlin close throughout. Merlin has no idea why he's been so insistent on his presence, but he's not complaining. Arthur just wants him closer — sharing a bed has to be close enough, right?
