“Ah,” muttered out Mydei as he watched the scene play outside the window. A pair dancing together, both beaming at each other despite the rain. And whilst this could be seen as a blessed sight of the local town sweethearts, it tore a hole into his heart. Who would have thought he would finally realise the role that Phainon played in his life a year after Cyrene arrived in their town. By then it already felt like it was too late.

However, when a celebrity named Phainon suddenly stumbles into his life, claiming he's known Mydei since they were both teenagers, Mydei finds his hard-earned peace ripped from him without any reparations. Mydei would like to be angrier about it, honestly, but the Kremnoan is clearly too good at adapting to change. After all-
