“Aight aight… I will,” he answered half annoyed as he pushed Toya into the subway.
A ‘beep’ was heard to signal the closing doors. Toya quickly yelled out one last time, “Call me later!”
He chuckled dryly, “Alright.”
But he never called that night.

(After those experienced musicians shit talk Akito in front of Toya, Toya gets invited to join their team. And Akito began acting a little strangely.

“Your father who opposed the very music we make is inviting us to sit down and share food with him?!” Akito further clarified with a face of stupor.
Toya nodded, “it’s exactly that.”
“What the fuck?!”
