Instead, he shifts his hand and watches as the ferrofluid in Ulrich's tank wobbles and spikes when Adler touches one of the sensitive spots he's so adamant that he doesn't have. With a nation to rebuild and political relationships to maintain, Lyney could feel his blond hair start to turn gray with each passing week. Forcing himself to make nice with a Duke he loathed and dealing with feelings he never wanted to challenge in the first place certainly didn’t make things any easier.
