For the last four weeks indie pop band; Voltron and emo indie rock band; Blade of Marmora have been jumping back and forth between first and second place. Lance wants nothing more than to win and prove that he can make it as a musician and Keith was entered on a whim and wants nothing more than for this to be over with.

Shouto is just as handsome as Katsuki had waxed poetic about in his own brash way. His eyes are kind as they meet Katsuki’s, murmuring a soft compliment that she doesn’t catch. But the back of Katsuki’s neck turns a ruddy complexion and that’s enough for her to know.
Shouto’s holding flowers to his chest, which takes her by pleasant surprise. And that surprise only grows when instead of giving it to Katsuki, Shouto lowers down to sit back on his heels and offer them to Akari. Katsuki smiles, the real one with crinkles at the corner of his eyes, and looks down at Akari who just gawks at the gesture.
That’s all it takes for Mitsuki to know that this is someone she would love to bring into her family.
After watching her son handle years of heartbreak and disappointment, Mitsuki is thrilled when Katsuki seems to have found the one for him and his daughter.

"I assume this is your first," Bakugou guesses. Shouto nods. "What's it called?"
"It?"
"This thing." Bakugou bounces Hisako on his knees and she gurgles around the pacifier contentedly. "The kid."
"Oh," Shouto says. "Hisako."
"Hisako, huh," Bakugou says. He squints at her like he doesn't trust her one bit. Hisako stares back at him like she's awestruck by his presence, her dark eyes wide. "You gonna raise hell like that again if I leave?" Hisako reaches out and smacks one pudgy palm over his nose. "I feel like that's a yes."

Shouto receives some unexpected (and much needed) assistance in looking after his infant daughter on an international flight.

Shouto doesn't know why he says what he says next. He's never been good at deception, and he matches Bakugou for impulsiveness—he's just less angry about it, usually. This is why they were given a cover story.
"Yes," Shouto says, nodding once, "we're on a date."
Everyone, including Bakugou, stares at him in shock. Belatedly, Shouto lifts a finger to his mouth.
"But it's a secret," he adds. "Shhh."

After the two of them are spotted at a Valentine's Day hero convention while on a mission, Shouto gets the brilliant (and extremely bad) idea to pretend he and Bakugou are there on a date together. It's brilliant because it's the perfect cover story.
It's bad because he's desperately in love with Bakugou, and Bakugou has no idea.
