Summary
When Shouyou was 8 years old, his life changed twice just a few days apart.
He wasn't exactly the happiest when his status results came in, because he always wanted to discover the world, to explore it all, and he knew that omegas still had many limitations. That, until he saw the tiny giant on those tv screens while riding his bike.
Not only he, also an omega, had gotten to college –to the prestigious Karasuno– but he did so to play sports.
It was then when he decided to follow his footsteps, to become the next great omega to conquer the volleyball world and go to nationals. And so he did… Or well, he was halfway there.
When Shouyou was 18 years old, his life changed once again. Living with a new pack, finally having an actual team, and even a partner... He thought he knew it all, he knew himself and how the world worked, but maybe, just maybe, he was wrong.

Kageyama was already feeling quite sleepy after their nightly activities, both his brain and his body feeling exhausted. He looked at the phone screen to check the time, before placing it by his ear again.
“It’s late.”
“Yeah, we should sleep,” Hinata mumbled. “See you tomorrow, boyfriend?” Tobio simply hummed in agreement. He was about to hang up then, but before he could, his partner spoke again. “Oh, wait, I forgot to ask you… Do you wanna stay over at my house this Friday?”
Suddenly, he didn’t feel as sleepy anymore.
“Stay over?”
“Yeah, my family is going to visit my aunt for the weekend, but I told them that I had practice on Saturday so I couldn’t go.”
“We don’t have practice this Saturday, coach Ukai said…”
“I know, Kageyama,” the spiker cut him off. “That’s, um, kind of the point.”
The setter blinked a few times, a heavy blush taking over his cheeks as his heartbeat increased.
Was he implying what he thought he was implying?
