Her voice cut through the tense air, pausing the Flick’s flight, and making them finally settle to watch the exchange. She could see Drift’s eyes change, her eyebrows blur in confusion at why AJ sounded so mad at her. “What?”
"Where do you fucking get off, Drift?” AJ hissed at the girl, feeling her chest rise. “Tell me, because I really need to fucking know."
OR
AJ confronts Drift about telling Osteon that AJ was losing her memories.

AJ was supposed to come alone.
The voice wanted her, it wanted her to forget, to become it. An entity, a voice, with no memories, no friends, no family. It was her destiny, to decay.

AJ brings Drift and Megii to the crypt, not knowing it would collapse on them.

“You can call me Aizawa,” the man — Aizawa — introduced himself with a small nod. “Danny, what happened?”
Danny stiffened so hard, he could feel the pull of his skin and muscles. He winced as a result, looking pointedly at Aizawa as he felt weak and out of control and hoped he may seem intimidating. “Nothing.”
“Danny.” It was the same tone Jazz used when Danny was doing something selfless, though stupid. Aizawa stared him down, silently waiting for an answer that didn’t come. Finally, he broke the silence again. “I want to help. You need to tell me what happened.”
“I don’t need to do anything!” Danny snapped his response, tears springing to his eyes. He looked quickly away from Aizawa, though found himself unable to keep the tracks of moisture from pooling and falling down his face. “I should go. I can take care of myself.”

After a horrifyingly traumatic experience in the clutches of the Guys in White higher ups, Danny finds himself in another dimension entirely. Aizawa, finding him while on patrol that fateful night, lends a helping hand.

Megii stiffens.

Megii can’t reply. Her mouth, her body, her brain; none of it is working right now.
