As she would have expected, Aloy felt herself tense at the initial contact, her face blushing a dark red as Talanah performed what she considered another intimate act. As the Carja woman’s fingers brushed against her ear, pushing a strand of her hair back, Aloy felt almost dazed. However, not in the dreadful way she had experienced while injured. No, this was different, very different: it was the type of stupor that left her hands trembling and chest aching. It left her feeling embarrassed for being so rude, so harsh, when all Talanah did was pay it back in kind.
Honestly, Aloy could not remember the last time she had been touched, let alone done with such gentle intent.
