Summary
About three things I was absolutely positive:
First, Edward was a vampire.
Second, there was a part of him—and I didn't know how dominant that part might be—that sensed I was no longer the girl who'd drawn his interest. That wrongness only made him watch me closer.

Edward Cullen was supposed to find star-crossed love with Isabella Swan. Instead, he gets Rory.
And she's about to rewrite fate itself, however unintentional.

Summary
Essentially just following the plot of the game and romance with Astarion with a few personal tweaks. Astarion feels the sun on his face for the first time in 200 years and has to befriend some of the strangest people he's ever met in order to survive. He meets Masmalta (The named female tiefling TAV), and sets about earning her trust the best way he knows how: By lying. He refuses to get attached.. even if she is nice.. even if she drew him a portrait..
Masmalta finds Astarion first when falling out of the Nautaloid. She only has one goal: To get back to her baby brother, who she is the primary caregiver for. And she finds herself becoming attached to some of the weirdest individuals she has ever met.

You had woken up your worst nightmare: having your grown mother using weaponized incompetence against you so much that you have no choice but to move to a small town to live with your slightly less weaponized incompetence cop father. All this while having to deal with 2005's atrocious fashion sense, sweaty gross teenage boys, your future husband and monarchist (?) in-laws wanting to murder you in cold blood just for existing, AND P.E.! Thankfully, you weren't like Bella Swan; not only did you have too much self respect but also knowledge of the future. And oh boy, if these aren't useful.

Summary
