“Seriously? An omelette and a milkshake? This is the best you could do?” He noticed her smelling the drink to check for any potential allergen, but Tony decided not to dwell on it.
“Didn’t have much food left, and what’s wrong with omelettes? You love them.”
“Tony, I have never, ever in my life, mentioned my love for omelettes.”
“Well who doesn’t love them? I do at least.” He sat down in front of her, pouring them both a glass of water. He wanted to wait until he told her before taking out any alcohol- he was pretty sure he would need some later. But then again when didn’t he?
She smiled a little, before remembering that she was still mad at him. “I appreciate this… But you really didn’t need to prepare a whole meal to say you’re sorry.”
“Say I’m sorry?” The playboy froze for a second. “Right- yeah- that too.”
