Summary

"We're ridiculous, you know that?" He asked, watching Gustave's eyes trace across his face and wondering what he saw there. Laughing, Gustave nodded his head, keeping his voice just as low. They were standing close, almost nose to nose now, like in those rom-coms.

Summary
Sometimes there is an angry, raging inferno under his skin. All that rage needs to go somewhere or it's going to burn him up from the inside out. That's the thing about a forest fire; it leaves nothing but ash and the bones of what used to be in its wake.
Verso is having a no good very bad string of days and he's been left to simmer in his anger for a little too long. All that pressure has to explode sometime.
