Summary
The summer of 1966 was one of the happiest summers Stanley and Stanford ever had. It was the year they found their beloved ship and promised each other that they would one day sail in search of adventure. Unfortunately, things hardly ever seemed to go right for very long, and they soon find themselves very far from home and each other.
In January of 1982, Stan and Ford are over a thousand miles away each other when they each have a chance encounter with familiar faces.

Summary
When you can’t see a damn thing the teacher’s writing down on the board, and when your own brother’s handwriting is too loopy and intricate and confusing to copy off of, you tend to find other ways to waste your time.
Stan hates to admit it, but he needs glasses. Fiddleford knows he needs glasses.
