"I feel weird," Sua murmured, unable to bring herself to speak louder. She sluggishly wiped at the drool on her chin, frowning slightly.
"Weird how?" Mizi's smile faltered. Concern immediately etched itself across her face. "Was it the edible? It's your first time taking one, so I know it can be—"
"No," she interrupted, but not unkindly. She just needed that look to go away. Mizi's concern was doing things to her. Her body was intensely warm, and she had no doubt that her flush had turned into a full-body blush. Sua nearly whined, pressing her face back down against her girlfriend's chest. Her voice came out muffled as she complained, "I'm horny."

It was reassurance, that indeed, she wouldn't lose someone she cared about again; that Columbina was safe and sound by her side.
