Summary
Shikamaru and Ino aren't anyone's first choice of time travellers.
They don't have the monstrous power to take on the akatsuki, they don't have the charisma to bring the alliance together early. They don't even have Choji.
They also don't have any other choice.
Lucky for the elemental nations, what the the remnants of team ten DO have is a mission: save those they love, no matter what.

Bookmarker's Notes
Ch 35
This is great! It’s going kind of slow and taking its time with the relationships, but it still feels like author-san has a plan.

Summary
She was sitting behind the Hokage’s desk—her desk—cheek pressed flat against the cool wood, pink hair spilling across neatly stacked files she’d meant to review an hour ago. The hat sat abandoned on a shelf nearby, like even it had decided this was all a terrible idea.
“I did not,” she said flatly, voice muffled, “go through medical hell, one war, and one extremely questionable apprenticeship just to be taken out by administrative labor.” she muttered into the desk, not that it was kind enough to respond to her mutterings. -
