Jeonghan blinks at the picture, opens his mouth, and then snaps it shut. Seungkwan feels a mulish sense of self-satisfaction, as ridiculous as that is. Jeonghan is difficult to surprise.
“See what I mean?”
Jeonghan passes his phone back to him with an equally mulish expression that means he does see. “Okay, whatever, sure, but that doesn’t mean anything. You’re the one he’s dating now! It just means Vernon-ah has exceptionally good taste.”

“Well…uh….” Seungkwan glances at the window behind Chan. His eyes find Mingyu immediately where he’s sat on the lat machine, flexing back muscles that are on display from the thin tank top he has on. He must stare a second too long because he can see Chan turn his head to look behind him, then look back at Seungkwan confused.
Seungkwan should save himself the embarrassment of admitting why he’s really here and make up some lie about wanting to get in better shape in the new year. But well…Chan did say the trainers can help him better if he’s honest with what his goals are. And he needs to work fast. He sighs.
“There’s an…um…a guy”.

Chan is a college student working part time as a personal trainer at the school's gym. Seungkwan signs up for the New Year’s discounted personal training package in an attempt to impress his crush, gym rat Mingyu, by bulking up. Things don't go as planned.

“There so is,” Chan shoots back. “There’s playoffs. We’re probably going to be up against the Dazzling Dolphins, not that you care.”
“Seriously? You know the team names? You’re more hopeless than I thought.” Seungkwan turns around in his seat. “Hey, Wonwoo. What’s the name of Jinsol’s soccer team?”
“Uh,” Wonwoo says, from behind them. “Purple?”
“We’re the Galactic Geckos, genius,” Chan tells him. Some mom in the fourth row gives him a stink eye.
“Yeah, that’ll show him,” Seungkwan mutters. “How are you not embarrassed?”
