Summary
At almost fifty years old, Rio has a life she never could have dreamed of as a child. As the Editor In Chief at Spotlight fashion magazine, she's got the job of her dreams and a life of luxury as a result. At the same time, the public presence side of it has never really been her thing. In fact, most would call Rio a recluse, but that's always been by design.
When she comes home a day early from a business trip, the last thing she expects is to find her partner of thirty years in bed with another woman. While it should destroy her, Rio has never been and will never be the type to let anything sink her.
So what does she do?
She puts on a dress worth more than some people's salaries and plants her ass in some shitty dive bar in the middle of New York's East Village, ready to drink her night away and forget that in the matter of ten minutes, her life was turned upside down irrevocably.
It just becomes a little harder when none other than world renowned rockstar Agatha Harkness decides to take the spot next to her, managing to change both of their lives forever without even realizing it.
