This is my original novel, not a fanfiction. I've written fanfiction before, but I wanted to create my own story with my own characters. I've put a lot into this novel, and I hope you'll give it a chance. The story follows Nora, a princess from the 15th-century kingdom of Dorn. While the countries are fictional, the story is inspired by real medieval European life. Nora is forced to marry a cruel, older king from a neighboring country, but she dreams of finding happiness and escaping the life chosen for her. During her journey, she meets a handsome knight named Tormod who, for some reason, wants to help her. As she fights for her freedom, Nora must grow stronger, learn to fight, and eventually become a knight herself. This story can get very sad and takes itself seriously, but it's also a romance. It's a slow burn, though not an extremely slow one. I wanted the relationship to feel natural and earned. If you enjoy action, romance, and character growth, I hope you'll enjoy Nora's story.
