    The bald man grabbed Sokka by the throat, but his grip went slack when he heard shouts of alarm from his companions. Sokka began to laugh.

    Fire Lord Zuko stood in the center of the road, eyes blazing almost as bright as his fists. A red dragon stood shoulder height to him, tail swishing and teeth bared. They looked like two iterations of a dangerous spirit, blessed by the sunset behind them. Smoke escaped both of their noses. When Zuko spoke, his harsh words were accompanied by a lick of flame.

    “Take your fucking hands off my husband.”

    Vash likes to pretend that the only reason he’s so excited for each new class is because of his newfound appreciation for the arts. Even then, when he’s actually sitting in the basement of the media center, it’s hard not to get excited for the end of lecture. Vash fears he has gotten a reputation for fleeing the arts building as quickly as he can once the professor dismisses them. He may or may not have accidentally bowled over a few of his classmates in his haste. Maybe even a few times. But he’s got a great excuse! He swears!

    Like every other Tuesday and Thursday, from when his class lets out at 1pm until his next lecture block starts at 2, said excuse can be found hiding in the smoker’s area behind the arts building.
