Summary
Katara is the daughter of the Southern Water Tribe’s chief, raised in the aftermath of war. With her mother dead and her father returned from the frontlines missing a hand, she has learned early what duty demands. Now, at the age when daughters are meant to be wed, her future is offered to her in the form of Sen—a respected warrior, honorable and kind. Her father believes marriage will keep her safe. Katara is not sure she wants safety at all.
When the call for soldiers reaches the South, Katara makes a choice that will cost her everything. Disguised as a man and carrying her father’s bow, she leaves home behind, taking her brother’s place and enlisting under the name Sen, trading a promised life for the uncertainty of war.
She is placed under the command of General Zuko—a banished Fire Nation prince who turned against his own country and now leads with relentless discipline. Katara finds him harsh, demanding, and deeply irritating in his refusal to soften, even as he pushes his men to survive. Yet as battles are fought and losses mount, she begins to see what lies beneath his severity—and something like understanding, then kinship, takes root.

Zuko had been wandering the world Spirit cursed for years. It wasn't enough for the Spirits to refuse to let him stay dead, they were determined to make sure he kept on dying. Waking up to an already bloodied sword above him should have been no different to every other time. He never expected to stay. He wasn't prepared to care again. Yet he did and he would hold onto it as short lived as it may be.

A face appeared behind her. And katara freezes. The face was one of a demon. A blue demon to be precise. Grinning like a madman with fangs on each side. White smirk, white eyes with pitch black pupils and white horns. Katara would have believed it was a mask if she didn't saw for herself the mouth move.
It then downed upon her. The mystical aspect of it all.
She was face to face with a spirit.
And one that has sided with Azula at that. Well look like the fight isn't finished after all.

Or: An universe in which zuko died during his Agni kai. Become a spirit, and stay by Azula side because they never really hated one another. So as good big brother does. He'll protect her no matter what.

Because every day there are more reports of the Fire Nation claiming more land or another defenseless town in his father's- in Ozai’s name.
And despite all the damage his soldiers are causing, he wants the other cultures to know. Wants people to know that the Fire Nation is suffering just as much as they are in this war, and that they are more than the face of the enemy.
His people sport burns and tragedy just as they do, and if no one else is going to show that, then it’s up to him.

Sokka has been hated and abused his whole life for being a firebender, so when the Fire Nation comes to abduct him, it turns out to be a blessing. Everything changes when he meets Azula. Befriending the damaged princess, Sokka will learn that his new home is not nearly as perfect as it seems.
Meanwhile, Azula has never forgotten seeing her brother Zuko get murdered by their own father. Ever since, she has done everything she could to survive, even if she hates herself for who she's become. Befriending Sokka sets her on a new path, but will she continue to obey her father, or choose to make a stand against the war?
Everyone believes Zuko is dead. Little do they know he lives, trapped in a Fire Nation prison camp. There, he will discover the true cruelty of the war and suffer in ways he never imagined. When he finally returns to the Fire Nation palace, he will have to decide whether to enjoy happiness with the people he loves, or risk everything for a chance at stopping the hundred year war.
Sokka, Azula, and Zuko have all suffered terribly, but by finding strength in each other, they have a chance at ending the war and bringing peace to the world- if only they have the courage to try.

Three years ago, Prince Zuko died at the hands of Fire Lord Ozai. Three years ago, the masked vigilante known as the Blue Spirit first appeared, becoming a thorn in the occupying Fire Nation's side. The Blue Spirit makes a mission for himself, promising to reunite the girl with her friends, all while evading the the Fire Nation and ghosts from a past he has no memory of. A journey is born from his desire to restore what's lost, one filled with love and loss, friends and foes, life and death, all to find who he truly is.

Zuko saw the moment the ceiling caved in and the large rocks that would come falling down onto Katara.
He ran over and pushed them both away from the debris with a loud yelp from Katara.
It was at that moment that the ground beneath them disappeared.
For a second Zuko thought he’d pushed them both off the ledge as the sensation of falling reached him.
Only it faded as soon as it came and they hit the cold stone beneath them.
As she pushed him off her someone jumped past them and landed with a kick at their opponent.
Zuko didn’t recognize either of the people and when he looked around he noticed that he had no idea where they were.Or Zuko and Katara get thrown in the BNHA universe. As they try to get back, shenanigans ensue. Zutara slowburn.
