The young psychic stuffed her sunglasses and phone into her bag with her laptop and the various papers she had laboriously taken the time to print out (what, like she was actually going to pay attention on a school trip? “And you chewed on it. Again. Even after I specifically told you not to do that last time.”
“It’s not my fault that your pens are just chewable, Lassie.” Shawn crossed his arms defensively.
“My pens aren’t chewable, you just have a screw loose in your head.”“Probably,” Shawn admitted easily. He knew that. “But I need writing utensils, and you have more than enough. Maybe you should consider not being greedy.”
“I’m not greedy, they’re–” Lassie sputtered, considering the entire argument to be ridiculous. “They’re my supplies. I don’t owe you anything, especially when you chew on everything I give you.”
Shawn giggled at the dirty joke that popped into his head at that comment, but pushed it down. It was maybe not the time to bring that up.
