Summary
At twenty-one years old, Nanami falls into a time slip and is transported 500 years in the past to the World Over Yonder. In a society where someone like her has few options, she takes a job as a courtesan in order to survive. There, at the brothel two years later, is where she meets a wild fox named Tomoe. Over time, they build an unlikely camaraderie that leads to romance. But the gap between their lives is great, and bridging their cultures and shelving their baggage proves to be a challenge. What might be a greater challenge, however, is not facing change -- but the fact that Nanami was never truly meant to live in the feudal era.
