Summary
Boston, 1950. Jeremy ran away in the dead of night, leaving behind a fractured home and a name that never felt like his. With nothing but a bag of comics, a stolen pair of dog tags, and the stubborn belief that he was meant for more, he hops a train to nowhere, searching for a life beyond hand-me-downs and closed doors. But the city doesn’t care about some kid with quick feet and empty pockets. If Jeremy wants to survive, he’ll have to fight for every scrap, steal when he has to, and learn that the world doesn’t owe him a damn thing.
He’s got no plan, no home, and no name worth remembering.
But maybe—just maybe—he can make one.
