Summary
It's probably not the most conventional way to meet someone, but as a single parent whose life, for the last five years, has consisted almost entirely of work and dad things (such as arguing over vegetable consumption and perfecting the art of on-the-fly storytelling), Namjoon doesn't really get introduced to new people much anyway.
So, yes, he meets Taehyung in the principal's office. And yes, Namjoon's daughter bit Taehyung's son for not sharing building blocks. And yes, the worst part of it all is that Taehyung is kind and gorgeous and paint-splattered and steals the air right out of Namjoon's lungs.
It’s fine. Namjoon doesn’t overthink it at all.

“You,” he says, pointing one outstretched finger in Kim Taehyung’s direction. He begins to approach him.
‘Me?’ Taehyung mouths, pointing at himself. His eyebrows are scrunched together in confusion, but Namjoon will have none of it. It’s a pattern, at this point, his actions are deliberate and obtrusive. Beyond that, they’re making his job so much more tedious.-
Mysterious stacks of books are popping up all over the library. Namjoon is on a mission to catch the culprit.

Summary
If anything is as routine as Yoongi whining about the room filling with smoke before he helps add to it is Taehyung slipping away sometime throughout the night to feed his kissing addiction. Even though Jungkook has lips and is usually in hands reach of Taehyung, he’ll disappear and reappear moments later with someone else. It’s fine.
It’s torture.
