Summary
When they land on the couch, beers in hand, Eddie’s face almost hurts from smiling. He’d known that he missed this, but hadn’t realized how much until he doesn’t have to miss it anymore.
“Oh! I have a surprise for you,” Buck says out of nowhere, cutting himself off in the middle of a sentence about his neighbor’s ugly garden decor. His smile, which had been bright and easy a second ago, turns sharp and teasing, and Eddie knows that Buck is about to do something stupid. “I was bored this afternoon.” He turns on the TV and starts fiddling with his phone. Eddie knows it’s going to be something ridiculous and over the top, because it’s Buck, but he absolutely is not prepared for what pops up on the TV when Buck connects his phone.
“Jesus Christ, Buck.”
Buck has the audacity to laugh in Eddie’s, now flaming red, face.
“Sex education is important!” He says cheerfully. “Ahem. Pay attention, there’s a quiz at the end!”

Summary
Eddie has been back from Texas for a few weeks now. Buck hasn't yet moved out, so they're essentially living together.
This would be fine if Eddie hadn't realised he was in love with Buck while he was away.
Now Eddie is being domestically tortured, because Buck is performing husbandly duties while he's only Eddie's best friend.
One morning, it all gets to be too much, and Eddie snaps.

or: Eddie sees Buck shirtless and making him breakfast, crawls into his lap and kisses him drunk. Then he leaves for a shift, leaving Buck stunned.

Summary
He finds Bobby in the kitchen, and he gives Buck the task of julienning the carrots for dinner. Buck only has half his mind on it though, and he must fidget enough for Bobby to look up at him.
“Buck?” he asks, probing gently in that way he does when he can see Buck needs to get something off his head.
“D-do you think Eddie and I smell too much like each other?” he asks, and Bobby gives him this smile that feels a little telling.
“I think,” Bobby says, looking back down at his chopping board as he expertly dices onions, “that you and Eddie smell like two people who spend a lot of time together, and who care for each other a great deal.”
Buck looks down at his own half-cut julienne carrots.
“I don’t know if that answers my question,” Buck mutters.
“Au contraire, Buck, I think it answers it just enough" Bobby says, letting out a fond laugh.

Summary
Just then, the dvd finished reading, and the screen clicked on as it began playing.
And it was definitely not the opening scene for Bruce Almighty.
It was Eddie's bedroom, actually.
And Buck was there.
"—bootlegs...?" Eddie trailed off, his eyes glued to the screen. "I don't think this is—"
"Eddie, please tell me you didn't get this out of the lockbox." Buck said in a hurry, turning to face Eddie on the couch.
Okay. So Eddie may have messed up. But in his defense, it was labeled as movies. Sitting among nothing but other, normal movies. How was he supposed to know it wasn't just a movie??
OR
Eddie accidentally stumbles across Buck's sex tape collection, and discovers a few interesting things about his best friend.

"I'm gonna die," says Buck flatly.
"Jesus Christ."
"I'm gonna die and you don't even care."
Eddie groans loudly and dramatically. "If you're that worried about it, just book a mammogram."
"Uh, no way." Buck shakes her head definitively. "Have you seen those machines? I can't squish these!" She gestures loosely towards her chest. "They're precious cargo, my money makers!"
Buck goes quiet for a moment, before her eyes light up how they do when she has a stupid ass idea. "You can check for me!"
Eddie shakes her head. No, not a chance. Not a chance in hell is that happening.
Buck is worried about a lump in her boob, and Eddie—the great friend she is—gives her a highly professional, medically necessary breast exam, against her better judgement.
