Summary
After winning the URA Finale by the skin of her teeth, Daiwa Scarlet is ready to take on the world. She and her trainer arrive in America, where they discover a new kind of racing – the Western relay. Running with teammates seems like an interesting way to conquer Scarlet’s only weakness, her ability to trust others, so she takes on the challenge.
…until an unlikely mishap at her scouting scrimmage leads to her rooming with Vodka again. She’s just as grating as she was a couple months ago. Scarlet is majorly used to it, and she reasons she’ll be able to get used to her new friends in time.
What she might not get used to is having to rely on Vodka when she passes the baton to her for the final stretch.
