Summary
Poseidon knew, deep down, the moment his child was conceived. Could feel the spark of it, the way he had for millennia before. Could feel the sea reaching for its newest progeny. This child would be strong, it knew it. He knew it. It had to be. He had brought a curse upon it for his own selfishness, and he knew one brother, at least, would punish the child for his broken oath as well.
When Perseus was born, Poseidon felt it spark in his heart. He felt the currents of the sea around him dance, rejoicing with him.

Summary
Poseidon mechanically observed Percy as a purple cape was thrown over his shoulders. His son. His wild, reckless son, had defeated a giant alone without any active help from a god when the last to do so had needed three demigods and Zeus’ direct intervention.
He couldn’t be more proud if he tried.

AKA the gods are bored cooped up on Olympus and have nothing better to do than watch Percy Jackson during the Son of Neptune.

It's 1976 and Hogwarts' N.E.W.T. Divination class can only see the homework in their future. Lily Evans and Sirius Black certainly can't foresee they're falling into friendship. What happens in Divination, stays in Divination.

Summary
The girl was thirteen. Prim’s age. Dessy Hollsworth, a short, scrawny little thing. The Hollsworth’s weren’t from the Seam and they’d kept out of the mines, but they were a family of clothes makers and menders with a bad habit of procreation. With six kids (not to mention a seventh on the way), Dessy was the first to reach Reaping age and Katniss had to imagine she’d taken tesserae.
The girl tried very hard not to cry as she walked on stage and mostly did a poor job of it.
The boy was seventeen, which was slightly easier to watch, except that made him the same age as Katniss. She knew him. From classes, back when she attended those. Bren Fox. He was a Seam kid. A son of a miner who was the son of a miner who would one day have a kid who was the son of a miner.
Well, not anymore.

Katniss and Peeta win the 73rd Hunger Games. It doesn't change much. The rebels still have their plans for the Quarter Quell. But for one year, Katniss and Peeta are neither tributes nor rebels. They're mentors.Bookmarked by vivid_atmost

Summary
SPOILERS FOR Sunrise on the Reaping!!!
And somehow, the thought of having to send Katniss into the arena is so much worse than sending Prim. Katniss, who reminds me so much of my best friend. Of my Sweetheart. Of myself. I’ve seen her selling game in the Hob in more recent years. She clearly knows how to wield a weapon and she’s smart enough to sell to the right people. With Prim, I could help her achieve that last wish, but she would never survive the Games. What makes Katniss so terrifying is that she might stay alive. And I wouldn’t wish the life of a Victor on anyone, let alone my best friend’s daughter.
The Hunger Games from Haymitch's point of view.
