“…I would die forgotten.” His voice cracked faintly on the final word.
Subaru stared at him, stunned into silence. His dimples around mouth twitched, as his expression tightened into a deep frown. For a long moment, neither of them spoke, the weight of Julius’s words lingering heavily in the air.
“Dude… Don’t- Don’t joke about stuff like that” Subaru finally said, completely serious.
“…But it is the truth, is it not?” Julius replied calmly. “There is no one left who would remember me besides…” His voice change to a whisper. “You.”
Julius closed his eyes. Perhaps he did not want Subaru to see the sorrow within them and spare him from sharing in his misery.
He had spent far too much time thinking about it. After all, he was alone in his world.
Suddenly, his body was shaken violently by the shoulders.
“You are not dying as some fucking Jane Doe on my watch, you hear me?!” Subaru shouted.

Summary
Everyone knows not to walk alone in Musutafu. Sure, it’s a rough area, especially around the red light district, but it’s haunted. It’s a long figure, one that leaves walls painted in ash and soot and crime scenes so stomach-churning and violent, specialists had to be called in for the autopsies and analysis. There have been some sightings, some grainy video footage, but the only thing anyone can figure out is that Musutafu’s ghost has bright green hair and eyes that glow in the dark.

Summary
A youkai being trailed by an exorcist puts the Fujiwaras in comas. Afraid of being forced to leave his home and being passed again between listless relatives, another option presents itself. Natori offers to become Natsume's nominal guardian, signing all the proper documents and allowing Natsume to remain in Yatsuhara with his human and youkai friends.
Except Natori decides to visit his ward occasionally. Just occasionally. He doesn't want to hover, but really, how much trouble can one youkai-seeing boy really get into?

Summary
Shion's touch is deadly - literally. Shion's skin cannot come in direct contact with anyone else's, or the other would die. Nezumi, new to the small town where Shion lives, does not know that, and while Nezumi usually keeps his distance from people, Shion happens to be the exception.
Preview:
When Nezumi reaches out to take the toothbrush, of course their fingers do not touch. Instead, Nezumi’s skin grazes Shion’s glove, and Shion pretends he can feel it, the warmth that his mother told him resulted in the contact of skin-against-skin.
He wonders if Nezumi’s skin is warm too, or if it is like his voice, cool and smooth. Maybe his fingers are soft, even though they share the hue of hard porcelain.
“Thanks,” Nezumi murmurs, and Shion likes the way his gratitude comes grudgingly, likes that he has to earn it, likes that it only seems more genuine because of this.
“You’re welcome, Nezumi,” Shion says.
He likes saying Nezumi’s name. The syllables are strange and secretive on his tongue. Jumble around his lips like a mystery in themselves.
Shion likes that this man has secrets. In a town where Shion knows everyone, it is nice to know he is no longer the only one with something to hide.
