Chapter Text
I'm giving up on this work, for several reasons.
1. This work isn't fun to write anymore. I know it only has like 4 chapters, but it's just really tiring. I have limited time to work on fanfics a day and I don't want to try and force myself to do something I don't want to. Plus, it feels like this work saps the creativity out of me
2. The work is really messy. The chapter length is inconsistent and the writing length sucks imo. Not to mention the update schedule. Also, the pacing wasn't fully fleshed out in my mind.
3. I'm simply just too busy with other things. I have other fanfics that I enjoy creating more than this one and this takes up extra time
I plan to re-write this work in the future, but it will be months, perhaps even years before that happens and will be a whole new work. I'll leave this fic here if anybody wants to re-read it(though I doubt it).
If you're curious, this was the part of chapter five i worked in before quitting:
Zhongli sipped some osmanthus tea while turning over the page of his book.
Added to this was the fact that this particular item had been snagged by an adventurer from an abandoned palace deep.. In the heart of.. The abyss.
Zhongli snapped the book shut. This just wasn’t working.
If anyone wants to pick the work up, just ask!
