Summary
Within the universe of Monsters & Mana, Keith is the rebellious princess trying his best to get out of royal responsibilities. All he wants to do is go adventuring with Kosmo and one-up Pike. But when he gets in a tight spot with Pike's team coming to his rescue, Keith will do anything to ensure they don't realize who he is.

Clicked on this thinking "sounds a little weird (I usually get squicked by crossdressing) to me but what the heck, I'll give it a shot because I'm in a weird mood" and did NOT expect to love this as much as I do. I love the premise of the mad queen, Keith being forced to play out the lie and trying to escape, his relationship with Kolivan. And Mars coming along was so cute. I loved that he was genuinely trying to be a hero and was just a kid. Keith was very kind to entertain his lofty ideas for a little while.
Of course, I'm guessing that digging up the mushrooms won't work at all. But Mars may recruit his older adventuring brother to come along and figure it out... Which is sure to be a hoot once Keith and Pike see each other.
