Chapter Text

For my beloved readers of "i missed you but who are you" I came to announce the official discontinuation of the said fic. It has been officially 515 days or approximately 1 year and 4 months since the last update. I guess it had been kind of obvious wasn't it? I've always wanted to come back and finish the fic because of the annoying cliffhanger i left, but no matter what i do, or how many times I went back to watch the series, the hype simply never came back. To be honest I was never sure how I was going to continue the fic after adding the new predicament to oboi's life:,)

I planned to revise that and completely remove the new "condition" from him from the last chapter "fleet" but I realized I would look like I was fooling around with the fic if I did that, so I left it alone until I've figured out a way to properly use it for the plot. To give you guys the idea I've decided that i will just briefly explain the very ending and what was the cause of his "other conditions". As my readers i believe that you all deserve to know the ending, I know it's soooo late, and some of you had probably moved on from this or the show itself, like me, but from time to time i still receive kudos from new users so i thought it'd just be appropriate to write it down for them and for all of the readers who supported this fic. I'll do my best to give out all the ideas i have for this fic. Anyways let's get started shall we? Hang tight, this drop load of ideas is a little messy

Includes the following:

*drafted chapters

*Headcanons

*Snippets

The chest pains: Another superpower based headcanon

Aside from the loss of memories, his powers gives him another physical toll, which was the chest pains. He wasn't sure at first on to why or how it was happening, until he consulted it to Ochobot. He then learned that his body was adjusting the power's intensity. It comes with various symptoms one of it being the chest pains, in other cases it'd be muscle cramps, headaches, and coughing up blood (this is when the evolved power becomes too extreme for the body)

This was very likely to happen when they upgrade to a higher tier or overuses it, and yes, this also applies to all of the kokotiam gang, except I think Boboiboy just has it worse because his powers are composite. Everyone else specializes a specific type of power, while bbb's elemental abilities are too broad and fragmented, unlike the rest who only have to upgrade one skill, he has to upgrade all seven elements, while keeping each volatile element stable, and balancing everything in a single body.

>>Summary of events<<

Of course being concerned for his own health, he first consulted to the only adult he has, tok Aba. While they were discussing about it, Ochobot passed by and overheard them, that's when he suggested that it could potentially be a symptom from his evolving powers. As his concerned friend he further inspects his symptoms and confirmed his suspicions correct. He assured Boboiboy that it was normal, having his powers at such a young age could give him more intense physical toll, but as he grows and manages to better control his powers it would likely go away or he will go tolerant from the side effects.

Originally this is a chapter that'll explain this whole headcanon and also continue the events from the previous chapter. I don't really know where I was going with this but this is the last sentences I wrote after those paragraphs above.

"for now that's the least of his worries, because while walking back to the office a sudden alarm went off, causing everyone to panic"

If i could remember correctly, someone had invaded the station and was causing chaos all around. Most of the workers had been knocked out and the security systems had been ambushed. Cutting to the chase, Boboiboy still pretty injured along with his friends had to help fight off the invaders, Amato was also well enough to help, with that the job was easily finished. After that Boboiboy, was on the verge of collapsing again when his dad praise him for the work he did, and while also trying to warm up with his son.

Here's what it should look like if i wrote it down:

>>Snippet<<

Boboiboy untransformed back to his original form, his vision was beginning to spin again, when a sudden pat hit his back, causing him to nearly loose balance.

"Good job, son you looked totally awesome out there!" Amato cheered, Boboiboy smiled sheepishly, as he tried to stable himself.

There was a long pause between them, both finding the right words to say to one another. Eventually Boboiboy broke the awkward silence, "so...about earlier..I'm really sorry i ran away" he started, Amato smiled and reached his arms for a hug, the orange clad hesitated but eventually took the offer.

However the moment the older man wrapped his arms around him, another shock of pain crept up his chest. His hands started to grip on Amato's shirt, as the pain intensify by the minute.

Amato feeling the grip, furrowed his brows "are...you okay, son?" he said before the teen pushed him away, clutching his chest. Amato moved closer to him, "are...are you alright? what's wrong??" he said reaching out his hand to him, but Boboiboy brushed his hand, creating a small distance between him and his father

"I need a minute..." the teen muttered his voice becoming strained. This then attracted the other's attention and pulled a crowd around them. While his friends tried to address the situation, Boboiboy grabbed yaya's shoulder, before he completely collapses on the floor.

>>Summary<<

Okay, so after that they took Boboiboy to the infirmary again, and found nothing wrong with him. That's when Ochobot stepped up to tell them that Boboiboy might've overdone himself triggering his power's side effects. Amato the concerned father he was, asked more about the said effects.

Ochobot explained and assured him that Boboiboy will be fine, and that the side effects are normal, especially since his power required the most energy from the user. He then asked about if the memory problem is involved and how they can overcome it.

Ochobot actually couldn't answer this one since, the memory problem was an old symptom before Boboiboy recieved his powers, the power had simply amplified that symptom from the constant partition. Ochobot suggested to find something that could help trigger his memories back since they don't have documented data about how to recover from the damage of the power's side effects.

So that's what they did, Amato who often chooses work over his son, decided to take a break and worked on ways to jog his son's memories back. meanwhile Boboiboy continued his life helping his grandpa and doing his duty as the galactic hero.

>>>

Eventually Boboiboy warmed up to his Dad, but it was never the same for amato, even after living back with his Dad and son, he felt out of place. It's not that Boboiboy was treating him like a stranger in the house, he treated him like how he'd treat other adults, he respects him and does tries his best to bond, and even started calling him ayah again.

But Amato knew the teen was just trying to be kind, to not make him feel worse than he already was. He doesn't even remember their old favorite hobbies together. He doesn't remember the time when he took him to his first soccer match, or to his first day of school or even... when he said goodbye to him at the train station..not single trace of Amato in his memories.

Amato, tried everything to get him to remember, but sadly nothing worked, he shared memories he had with him when he was little and Boboiboy would react to it like he was listening to someone else's life. Despite the lack of progress to regain his memories, Amato learned a lot of new things about his son.

The boi he knew was this cheerful kid with a kind heart and was always willing to try new things, and while those are still present to his personality, he found things that made him realizes how much time he missed from the boy's life. Things like his sense of passive sarcasm, which gets triggered when his annoyed, his competitiveness, but good sportsmanship, and his maturity towards his responsibilities.

Each day he spent time with him he finds something new. like how he hates popping balloons Infront of him, how he finds school boring except for science class despite claiming how he's never good at it, or how much he loves reading graphic novels that involved astronomical fantasies. He said he likes reading them because people get creative in world building, he'd traveled across the galaxy so many times and despite that, fictional space still amuses him.

Boboiboy was this self sacrificing kid, who tends to push himself to his limits. He had recieved reports of his succesful missions before, but hearing it from his friends made him realize that he could've potentially lost his son years ago, if it weren't for his loyal friends or his power that keeps him alive somehow.

A sample conversation between Amato and one of Boboiboy's friends (fang):

"he was shot out to space unconscious??" Amato exclaimed, the purple haired alien sipped from his mug before clarifying with a nod "he was nearly frozen when my brother found him"

Sometimes Amato would see the scars that peeked through Boboiboy's sleeve and instantly reminded him that his son shares the same duty he has. When he brings that up to him, he would tell him how he'd got them, while his friends make sure he tells the events accurately. Like when he got his scar on his bottom left abdomen from an alien monster by slashing him. Usually his stories are accurate enough, but he'd usually mix some other scenarios from different events.

Because of this Amato began treating him like he was incapable, or babying him too much. Sometimes he wouldn't let him go to some missions because he's afraid it'll worsen his condition or worse kill him. But Boboiboy was getting annoyed by this, he doesn't want to be treated like he's some weak kid that HAD done his best, because that's not who he was, He was STILL doing his duty, and was never incapable, sure his unstable memories are a bit of a setback but it doesn't hold his morality and will to help others, it's not something that can stop him from serving others. Eventually he confronted his dad about this, Amato reflects and realizes that Boboiboy was right, in fact he did endured the same hardships from when he was young too, since he was a teen when he first began saving people, and that made him stronger. It was a difficult decision for him, but he ended up letting him do what he feels was right, he didn't want to make him feel controlling, in the end he just wants him to be safe.

Remember that time from chapter 3 when Boboiboy told tok aba his degrading memory and how he kept notes of everyone Incase he forgets them, well that was the first thing he looked for after going back home, That man who claimed to be his father, made him feel really guilty, and then he remembered that little memory notebook he made a few years ago. Sure enough when he looked through it he saw his dedicated page. Amato's name was there and beside it was labeled with ayah, he read through it, and found poor descriptions of his personality, his birthday, and few description about his favorite memory with him. It made him tear up a little, realizing he had actually forgotten an important person from his life again. But even after reading through it multiple times, it just doesn't connect with him. He desperately tried to remember, but nothing came up. He ends up crying on his bed that night.

>>Snippet<<

It was finally night time, the soft breeze from outside hummed as it gently pushed the windows back and fort with a sound of a wooden clank.

Amato was outside of his son's room, he stared at the door knob for quite a while before finally placing his hand on it, and twisting the knob open. The door creaked softly revealing a space themed room.

He then looked around, looking for his young teen. He stepped in when he finally found him. Boboiboy was on his bed, sleeping peacefully with a book over his face.

Amato sat on the bedside, removing the cap from his head and the book that covered him.

His eyes softened, looking at the boy, brushing the hair off his cheek. Then his gaze landed on the small notebook beside his hand. Curiously, he picked it up and flipped through it. His eyes narrowed at the pages, seeing the documented identities, puzzled him.

what on earth did he use this for

He pondered.

Suddenly the door creaked open, he snapped his head up to the person, and saw it was just his Dad. "I brought you some hot cocoa, I figured it would help you fall asleep" the old man said, walking in and handing him the mug.

Amato smiled, and took the drink. "You know what's that for?" Tok Aba said placing his hand on his son's shoulder, Amato turned to him a bit puzzled. "Have you read it's contents?" Amato nods, "You know this is the exact reason why he's written down everyone on that notebook, Incase...he suddenly forgets someone"

Amato sets the mug down on the floor, now fixed on his Dad's words, "he documented everyone..?" He then went through the notebook again, eventually landing on his own page, his picture pasted on the top corner with a his name labeled ayah below. His fingers traced the written words

"this is my father, he's the cooleSt ambassador ever"

"He loves to draw back then but now he's too busy to do anything fun"

"He loves watching the stars with me"

"my favourite memory of him was when he took me to my first soccer game"

"he loves me, but sometimes he gets too busy with his work"

A tear started to form on the corner of his eye, going through all the words Boboiboy wrote before his memory of him was completely erased. Before he knew it he found himself sobbing, soaking the notebook with his tears. Tok aba pulled him into an embrace, patting his back as the man leaned more towards him.

"There, there, he's well and with us, that's what's important, right now all we can do is remind him that we love him. He might not remember you now, but he is making an effort to create new memories with you"

Tok Aba turned to look at the sleeping teen "Because he knows you were once important to him" Amato pulled back from the embrace, wiping his eyes with the heel of his palm. "Give him time" Tok aba muttered.

Amato shifted his eyes to the boy behind him, he leaned a bit closer, and caressed his hair, "I'm sorry boi, Ayah's gonna make it up to you I promise.." he whispered kissing him on the forehead, he pulled the blanket over him, while tok Aba closed the windows. Amato took one last look at his son's peaceful form before turning off the light and leaving the room.

In the end, Boboiboy never regained those memories, but he and Amato made new ones, building their relationship all over again. It was slow, and awkward but nonetheless it was true.

Extra: this was supposedly the next chapter in my draft before I lost the motivation to continue it

Soon a faint pant was heard after a familiar hissing sound emerged from the door "hah~ hah~ sorry I'm late~ I had too many curry puffs~" everyone turned to the direction of the voice and saw their chubby friend resting his hand on the door frame as he catches his breath.

The trio, excluding the orange clad, stared at him deadpan. "You and your priorities" the raven haired scoffed. The chubby boy entered the room smiling sheepishly as he stand beside the trio.

"Hey what did I missed?" Gopal whispered leaning closer to the raven haired, fang crossed his arms against his chest, with a sigh he muttered "that's admiral mechamato, he's one of the greatest heroes of the galaxy. legend as they call him, even captain kaizo admired him. I only saw him once or twice but I was very little at that time" Gopal peered at the man, but he was faced back so he only saw his back view.

"I've wondered why he was so familiar, but...that's not the most shocking part he's actually Boboi—"

"Hey that's Boboiboy's dad!" The molecule manipulator blurted cutting fang off, "you know?" Fang uttered turning to the Indian boy. "Yeah~ I saw him in a picture BoBoiBoy showed me before—wait what did you say about him?"

Thank you all so much for reading, Those 50 days of writing was the best times of my life, I know this summary is messy, but I hope you understand that I just dropped the ideas here, and didn't put too much work since it's not meant to be polished.
