Summary
Witch. Demon. Heretic. All have been used to describe you by ignorant village dwellers blinded by faith. But that's not who you are.
You're a doctor, living alone outside the village that shuns you and your knowledge as witchcraft. You keep to yourself, using your medical and botanical expertise to survive the harsh conditions of the Romanian wilderness. Occasionally, villagers will track you down and beg for aid, hoping your "witchcraft" will cure them of their ailments when their faith has not. You've never turned down a patient, so when a desperate woman shows up at your door hoping to rid herself of her burden, of course you help.
But in a place like this, no good deed goes unpunished.
