Summary
Five years after the events of Breaking Dawn, the Cullens have relocated to England to start afresh! They’re back in high school, but this time with Renesmee… who has a supernatural gift that is spiralling out of control?!
This is a mostly canon compliant post Breaking Dawn coming of age & anti-imprint story. The Cullens reject the imprint, Renesmee and Jacob do not have a romantic relationship, and they do not end up together. The focus is on a.) the concepts of autonomy and free will, and b.) Bella and Edward’s relationship with each other, and c.) their role as parents & relationship with Renesmee as she reaches maturity.
This story is not Jacob, Bella, Edward or Renesmee bashing, though they all have a *very* rough time. Expect a lot of fluff, a lot of angst, a lot of slice-of-life snippets, and a dark/brooding/intense Edward. Eventual happy ending for all :)
Longfic. ~5-10k words per chapter. Switches between Ed/Bella POV. Warning for language, implied recreational drug use, discussion of sensitive topics (e.g. grooming), and eventual sexual content and themes (not a smut focused fic, but has E/B mature scenes after chapter 10).
