Summary
In the era of Depression and Prohibition, no good deed goes unpunished.
It is the year 1930. As the economy continues on its seemingly never-ending nosedive, and the government continues to drag its heels trying and failing to enforce Prohibition, two young women do their best to survive in Los Angeles: where crime runs rampant and booze flows like liquid gold.
